It’s been a bit of a pizza theme at our place lately.
So, I decided to continue it, with a pizza party invite you can make yourself.
Here’s two pizza party invite ideas you can print out and add your own details for your next party.
There’s two options…
The Pizza Box Invite.
The Pizza CD Invite.
The box could also be used a a favour box, ie: a take home pizza box at the end of the party.
There’s a space on the thank you pdf, to write your guests name too.
I asked my local pizza shop for a small pizza box (a small donation would get you a few boxes for each guest)
TO MAKE A CD PIZZA PARTY INVITATION
Simply print out my pdf, add your party details, then use a scalpel to cut around, using the CD as a guide. Then glue with adhesive spray and pop in a CD sleeve. Bellissimo!
I’m a fan of the box as the invite, check out the graphic inside…
Just cut the pdfs to size and stick on a small pizza box…
(I folded mine the wrong way around so you don’t see the logo on the front, you could even spray paint inside to really finish it off).
If you fancy the set of 3 pdfs above (size 200mm x 200mm each) leave me a comment below and follow me to get a free copy for a limited time.
The little guy and I also made pizza dough a few weeks back,we used this recipe and it worked a treat.
Told you… it’s been a pizza theme here.
(Last week we made pizza dip with cream cheese)
It was awesome.
The little guy and I made pizza dough and then took it to a friends house and all the kids made their own pizzas, it was basically cheese or cheese and ham. Pure Italian… non of that other stuff on top.
I took no photos of the actual pizza topping ceremony… because we were having far too much fun…
Making our own pizza dough was sooo cool, we’ll be doing it again and again.
Basic Pizza Dough Recipe (makes about 4 pizzas)
7g sachet dry yeast
1 teaspoon caster sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups of plain flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
Combine 3/4 cup warm water, yeast, sugar and salt in a bowl and whisk with a fork to dissolve.
Cover with plastic wrap and place it somewhere warm for 5 minutes or until bubbles appear on the surface.
We popped it in the sun and left it for about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, we sifted the flour into a bowl, then added our bubbling yeast mixture and oil. Mix to form a dough.
Then turn onto a lightly floured bench and knead for 10 mins or until elastic.
Place in a lightly greased bowl. Cover with plastic wrap. And stand in a warm place for 25- 30 minutes or until doubled in size.
Then your ready to make pizzas.
On a floured surface, divide the dough into 4 balls and roll into pizza rounds with a rolling pin. Add pizza sauce and your choice of toppings.
Cook in an oven on 180C for 15-25 mins or until the cheese is melted and the crust is crispy.
(We cooked our pizzas on a pizza stone in the BBQ yum!)
You’ve gotta stop and listen to Dean Martin, while you make pizza… that’s amore.
Who needs a party to celebrate really…
…incase you have a pizza party in mind, you can…

We just had a pizza party for my 8 year old – These are beautiful invitations. Ours was just a plain and simple affair. (Well, simple except for the large group which makes things more complex!) I was thinking as I prepared that I should make more effort into doing a proper pizza party sometime, it’s a great theme!
