Just like that…
last week,
we became retailers on The Block Shop!
If you were here,
You would have seen gigantic smiles,
felt the excitement,
and heard the high fives,
that I quietly tapped to myself.
When we built our dream home last year,
it was The Block that inspired many of the rooms,
inspiring me to think outside the square,
create design with function.
Decorate and style our house to become our home,
with our own unique stamp on it.
Apart from the fact that I’m a massive fan of the TV show,
I’m thrilled to announce we are now a retailer on The Block Shop.
Along with many of my other favourite brands.
When we moved from Sydney one and a half years ago,
to make a new life in this beautiful town called Yamba.
Who knew where we’d be today?
We’ve made new friends,
had many visitors.
Become inspired by this beautiful town.
And built our dream home.
And all the while, I’ve been creating pieces for my Yamba Scandi Collection.
Along with creating easy DIY ideas to make our house a home.
{That you can make too}
This place inspires me with it’s beautiful beaches and simple lifestyle.
It’s a place where lifetime holiday memories are made.
{So many people come here for family holidays and love it so much, they end up moving here.}
You know those days when you’re on holidays and everyone is happy and excited?
There’s no work to be done,
only time to relax and enjoy friends and family.
{There’s so many beautiful beachside towns just like this one, all around our coastline}
That’s the feeling and the inspiration behind my works.
Simplified into minimalist Scandi style prints,
inspired by Yamba,
so you can take a piece of that fabulous holiday feeling home with you,
to rest on your own walls.
So, if you love Scandinavian inspired artwork that’s designed, framed and printed locally, right here in Yamba
you can now shop the Yamba Scandi Collection on The Block Shop here.
{And you’ll be supporting small, local businesses while you shop too!}

Today is a shameless post on sharing my excitement at becoming a retailer on The block Shop.
I think when you share your success, it can inspire others to make their own success story.
If you have a dream like me,
go on,
get out there and take the next step,
you might be surprised where it will lead you.
After all,
it’s not ALL about what you do, it’s about what you tell people you do.
Oh, and don’t forget to head over and check out The Yamba Scandi Collection on The Block Shop here.
{I think I’d go bananas if the contestants ever used one of my prints in their rooms one day.}
Good luck to everyone on The Block, I love seeing what you create every week.

I’ve been looking for some artwork for my new place as I’ve lots of white walls and I’m a bit over the stuff I’ve had out for years.

Do you know I think I’ve only ever seen one episode of “The Block” and that was when I was at the gym! It often seems like I’m the only person in Australia who doesn’t watch (apart from my hubby.) I have to say, the episode I did watch was a cracker! I’m so excited that you’re in the Block Shop and can’t wait for the time when your pieces are featured on TV. I know this is a when, not an if, scenario! Congrats, lovely! No one deserves this success more than you xx
That’s so exciting!!! Congratulations I loved seeing the inspiration pictures and then your creations too. I’m right into the Block at the moment too. Well done! X
This is so exciting! Congratulations! 🙂
